Laura Hyman
Laura Hyman is an Assistant Attorney General in the Georgia Attorney General’s Office. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia in English Literature and a Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University's College of Law in 1997. Her areas of expertise include contract law, regulatory law, and labor and employment. In addition, Ms. Hyman has extensive non-profit board and fundraising experience, having held leadership roles on several boards. Motivated by her passion for expanding educational opportunities for children in urban communities and her dedication to public service, Ms. Hyman has committed herself to the mission and vision of KIPP STRIVE Academy. The combination of her leadership experience and professional background will assist KIPP STRIVE in resource management, meeting policy objectives, networking, and community outreach.
