Michael Powell
Michael Powell is an attorney with Morris, Hardwick, Schneider, a commercial real estate group. He received his Bachelor of Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Industrial and Systems Engineering and his Juris Doctorate from the Georgia State University College of Law. His areas of expertise include leasing agreements, sales contracts and compliance issues related to commercial real estate. Mr. Powell served on the executive committee for Phi Alpha Delta and has been involved with PUSH America, a philanthropic organization benefiting handicapped children. In addition, he is on the advisory council for the Lancaster Foundation, a charitable organization focused on children, community, and education. Mr. Powell’s passion to bring educational equity to the children of Atlanta, and his commitment and dedication to the mission and vision of KIPP STRIVE Academy will be an invaluable asset. His extensive expertise in commercial real estate and critical judgment will assist in securing a facility and developing sound operational systems for KIPP STRIVE Academy.
